The man in the moon

I love cookie cutters. If you’re running short on time in the morning, like I usually am, it’s a great way to make a cute lunch with minimal effort. I also found the tiny star cutters in Michael’s in the cake decorating aisle. They are fondant cutters. She had her usual peanut butter & jelly with a royal icing eye (purchased through Amazon), honey wheat pretzel braids to dip in her hummus, and mozzarella cheese stars. Her fruit bento is manadarin oranges, watermelon stars and blackberries.
Little A has been sort of an enigma. It’s the toddler thing. One day she’s crazy about a food and the next she flat out refuses it. I have to keep trying new things. Today she had the same star theme for her lunch. The heart bento has mandarin oranges on the left with mozzarella cheese stars and watermelon stars on the right. In the blue bento she has Annie’s Organic Macaroni & cheese shells on the bottom with carrots and Applegate ham stars on top.

I just found this blog, awesome! How did you make the tiny stars? Where did you get them?

I would love to find little fish too…
