Candy Canes

Posted on: December 19, 2011

So the kids are out of school for the next couple of weeks which means lunches at home.   Today Miss G requested candy canes so I threw together a simple version for her.  She had a ham sandwich on whole grain bread.  I used small apple slices to make the stripes on the candy cane. Next to it is a BabyBel cheese with a Christmas tree cut out of it.  Above the sandwich on the right is another apple shaped like a candy cane with stripes cut out of it and to the left are raspberries.

Love the candy canes and babybell tree 🙂

What a great idea of cutting the stripes into the apples! I’ll have to try that for John when he’s off school next week!
