Lunch for the princesses at home

Posted on: February 10, 2012

The girls don’t go to school on Fridays.  This morning we went to a local market that grows their own fruits & veggies.  They also have cattle, a burro and sheep there that they let us feed.  That was the highlight of the day so far.

I made them lunch on these awesome plates our friend Pinky sent for Christmas.  Thanks, Pinky!  The girls love them.  They both had hummus, healthy pretzel sticks, and star fruit/carambola which are in season here in Florida.  Miss G had an almond butter & jam on whole grain bread.  I made the fish the princess’ hat.  Little A had a strawberry with her lunch.  Have a great weekend, everyone!

I love how you incorporated the faces on the plate. My princess is home today with Pink Eye. She’s been on the meds nearly 24 hours so hopefully it clears up this afternoon because tonight is the Daddy Daughter Princess Dance!

Thanks, Diana! Hope your princess is better by tonight. Pink eye is the worst :( Enjoy your weekend!
