I’ll bet you can’t guess what letter they’re teaching at school this week! It’s W week so I attempted my version of a windmill for Miss G. I hand cut the base out of whole grain bread flattened with a rolling pin. Then I decided to do Snyder’s pretzel squares stuck on crackers with Justin’s almond butter to make the blades. . At the top right are yellow tomatoes we grew in our backyard for the hair and a larger cherry tomato for the face. I used vegan cheese to cut a winking face to go with the W theme. At the bottom right are blueberries and a strawberry W. Her lunch is packed in her Easy Lunch Box.
Miss A is having a W and a worm for lunch today. From the top left are watermelon stars, cashews, a sliced strawberry a pick of blueberries and dried cherries with an apricot heart on top. Her lunch is packed in a LunchBots stainless container.
My husband also gets a salad today to go with his lunch. His salad is baby spinach leaves and butter lettuce with watermelon radish shaped into small pie pieces and a heart in the middle. He also has a green onion on it, yellow carrots from the local market. At the top right he has a bunch of mini carrots, and at the bottom right . His lunch is also packed in an Easy Lunch Box.
Happy Monday to everyone!
