I don’t know about everyone else, but I’m definitely in the middle of the holiday scramble of trying to pull it all together. This time of year although festive can cause a bit of stress too. Hoping that everyone is finding some joy in all the details.
My four year old has a raspberry colored Goodbyn Bynto today packed with a CuteZCute pig. I love this sandwich cutter kit for its ease of use and a TON of options. There will be a few in packages for friends and family this year from me! I used Rudi’s Whole Grain bread, Justin’s brand maple almond butter & jam. I also added some shiny sprinkles behind the eyes & snout for color. Dried apricots and a Crimson Gold organic apple surround the sandwich. In the middle compartment are mini carrots, pineapple pieces and cantaloupe chunks. And in the top are raspberries and a silicone pig cup of whole cashews on top.

For her snack today, Miss G has a LunchBots Duo packed with tomatoes, crackers and a seckel pear in the left compartment. On the right is an apple cinnamon Christmas tree muffin, an Apple Pie Larabar and dried cranberries.
Little sis has a spaceship lunch in her LunchBots Quad. From the top left are dried apricots, a Crimson Gold organic apple and a Stretch Island fruit leather crescent moon, rocket shaped cantaloupe pieces, raspberries and mini carrots and small space ship sandwiches on Rudi’s whole grain bread.

Happy Monday, everyone! Hope you all had a safe Halloween. I packed some post-Halloween pasta today for the girls’ lunches. I cooked some farfalle (butterfly) pasta and added orange grape tomatoes and black olives for the fall/Halloween look. In Miss G’s Goodbyn Bynto, I added a small blue container of vegan parmesan for sprinkling over the top. Next to that in the bottom compartment is a peeled clementine orange and coconut date balls for a treat. Her ice water fits in the middle compartment.
In her Happy Tiffin stainless bento is half of a d’Anjou pear surrounded by red grapes. In the round container is cinnamon applesauce for her snack.
Miss A usually has a smaller version of what everyone else is having. In her LunchBots Duo is a peeled clementine at the top left surrounded by red grapes. Below that is a coconut date ball surrounded by dried apricots. On the right side is her farfalle pasta with halved grape tomatoes and black olives. Hers is already sprinkled with a bit of vegan parmesan to minimize mess.
For her small snack today, she has cashews and a mini box of California raisins.

For last night’s dinner we had quinoa pasta. I love that I can find healthy, fun pasta for my kids in great shapes. The Quinoa Corporation makes these garden pagodas that I cooked with Lightlife brand vegan italian sausages and marinara sauce and grape tomatoes. The thing I really like about the quinoa pasta is that it’s organic, non-GMO (not genetically modified), gluten-free and use plant based colors. Better than that they don’t get mushy and my kids love them. I decorated with vegan (non-dairy) cheese butterflies. At the bottom are two small apple slices with a butterfly and a G for Miss G with the opposite color plugged into the cutout packed in her Goodbyn bynto lunchbox.
For her snack today, Miss G has black seedless grapes, honeydew melon and the red butterfly cutout from her apple in the middle packed in her Happy Tiffin stainless bento box.
Little Miss 2 year old has the mini version of the same lunch of quinoa garden pagoda pasta, vegan italian sausage pieces, vegan cheese butterflies and a yellow flower cup of red and green apple butterfly pieces with raspberries at the top packed in her LunchBots Duo.
My husband’s lunch is the third more adult version with vegan cheese hearts, a plum at the top left and a d’anjou pear sliced at the top right packed in his Easy LunchBoxes container.

Miss G has days of the week lessons in spanish this week so I made her a Lunes lunch today. In the top yellow flowers are raspberries with a blackberry in the middle and a sectioned plum on the right. In the middle is her ice water and the bottom compartment are almond butter and jam sandwiches with LUNES cut out in Stretch Island fruit leather letters packed in her raspberry Goodbyn Bynto box.
For her snack today, nectarines, blueberry picks and strawberry hearts are packed in her Happy Tiffin stainless bento.
Little Miss A, 2, is having an insect filled lunch today. They are studying bugs this week so I’m playing along. She has Wholly Guacamole frozen in a spider cup. The spider’s 8 eyes and mouth are made from kalamata olives. Underneath are pretzel chips for dipping. At the top right are organic raspberries on spider picks. Below that are strawberries and blueberries on ladybug picks. And at the bottom left are plum sections with a bee pick packed in her LunchBots Quad.
My husband has a green salad today to go with his lunch. He has mixed baby greens, organic green zebra stripe heirloom tomatoes, scallions and sugar snap peas. At the top are mini carrots and strawberries packed in his Easy LunchBox container.
Bears and chicks bento

As long as I get creative with it, my kids will eat just about anything. I took last night’s teriyaki marinaded gardein brand (faux) chicken over brown rice with quinoa. I used a bear shaped rice mold to reshape the rice/quinoa mix. The bear cup is filled with small pieces of the soy “chicken”. Behind the bears at the top are 2 small bear sandwiches. The water bottle in the middle compartment is great for keeping things compact in the lunch box, and it doesn’t leak. I do handwash this whole box and the bottle. At the bottom are watermelon pieces in the middle, strawberries on the side and a skewer of blueberries packed in her Raspberry Goodbyn brand bynto lunchbox.
For her snack today Miss G has mini organic carrots and organic green beans with honey mustard to dip in the bear container.
Miss A (2) is still allowed to take character themed items to school. I found this small, 2-tiered bento box on eBay this summer with Stitch on it from Disney’s Lilo & Stitch. She LOVES it. We’ll be using it quite a bit this school year as it’s the perfect size for her. 
On the left are small almond butter sandwiches shaped like chicks and dried cranberries below. On the right are organic blueberries with a watermelon chick, strawberries and watermelon pieces. She also has a snack of nectarine and pineapple pieces not shown.
